We worked with our client to restore her kitchen after a flood and transform it into a part of the home to be shared with family and friends for entertaining and daily life. The large island is the centerpiece of the kitchen. We tied the color to match the existing fireplace mantel. The island itself has a large prep area and a prep sink – both sinks in the kitchen have touches faucets. The clients love to cook, and we designed this kitchen with lots of unique touches to compliment that passion. The kitchen features a steam oven – this presented a unique challenge in connecting the steam oven to the secondary sink for proper drainage. Other creative design features included a pull-out pantry that is great for storage, a drawer dishwasher and a warmer drawer. The kitchen features Miele appliances and the backsplash is glass tile. The appliances are Miele. The flooring featured in this home is a unique tile flooring that has the appearance of hardwood floors.
